My recent stay at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived to the moment we (reluctantly) departed, everything about this resort delivered luxury, ease, and unforgettable experiences. Located just 45 minutes north of Cancún International Airport, getting to the resort was incredibly simple and convenient—making it a perfect tropical escape without the stress of complicated travel.
Seamless Arrival & Transfer Experience
The transfer process was a breeze. We flew into Cancún International Airport, which is easily accessible from most major cities. From there, it was a quick and comfortable 45-minute drive up the coast to reach the resort. We arranged round-trip transportation, and both legs of the journey were smooth and timely—an effortless way to start and end the trip.
A Suite Worth Swooning Over
Upon check-in, we were thrilled to be upgraded to a fabulous one-bedroom suite in the Club Section, which offered incredible privacy and overlooked the stunning resort grounds. The Club is an adults-only experience that offers access to private pools, restaurants, bars, and lounges, adding an elevated level of exclusivity and calm throughout the stay. The Club experience truly elevated our visit—quiet, refined spaces and so many shaded and sunny spots to relax in, whether by the pool or just lounging with a book.
A Birthday to Remember
I was at the resort to celebrate my birthday, and they made it so special! I arrived to find a birthday banner on our suite door and another one beautifully placed above the bed—with rose petals arranged to spell “HBD.” It was such a thoughtful, charming surprise that instantly made me feel celebrated. Throughout the resort, I also noticed banners and decorations on other guests’ doors, celebrating everything from honeymoons and anniversaries to “Just Married” and “Welcome Back.” It’s clear that Majestic Elegance goes above and beyond to make every guest feel seen and special.
Beach Bliss & Poolside Paradise
The beach was just steps away—a super short and easy walk that made it so convenient to bounce between beach and pool. The variety of loungers and daybeds made it easy to find the perfect spot, no matter the time of day.
Spa Serenity
One of the highlights of the trip was our visit to the on-site spa. We indulged in the Cenote Cave Massage for two, which included access to the hydrotherapy circuit. It was a blissful and rejuvenating experience that left us feeling totally refreshed.
Flavors of Mexico and Beyond
We dined at several of the resort’s restaurants, but hands-down, the best meal we had was at the Mexican restaurant. Authentic flavors, beautiful presentation, and a vibrant ambiance made it truly memorable. We also loved the sushi bar for a light, fresh bite.

A major perk of the Club experience was the butler service. It was incredibly convenient to communicate via the resort app—whether we needed help with dinner reservations, spa confirmations, or just had a quick question, the team was responsive and always eager to help.
